Buddies

Mariah and Robbie doing what they love most: watching a movie. These are the only times that I've been able to catch them both together with the camera. Mariah is such a good big sister to her brother. And Robbie loves Mariah more than anything. All he ever wants to do is whatever she's doing, and all he ever wants is whatever she's playing with, which can cause a bit of conflict at times, but all in all, they get along really well.

The Mess

the whole room.
close up.

This is what my office ends up looking like after only 30 minutes on the computer. And yes, if you were wondering, those ARE Barbie stickers stuck to the wood floor. Those kids are crazy but I still like them.

Dress Up

Mariah the Princess and Robbie the Lion
The Lion wanted to leave...

I was going through our Halloween stuff and found this lion costume for Robbie. We might not use it this year because I'm weird and like us all to be "coordinating" but he looked so cute. Mariah is actually not wearing a costume, but one of her many princess dresses that she begs me to wear on a daily basis.

Robbie has TEETH!

Okay he's had them for a while, but I have NOT been able to prove it with a picture. Until now. He actually has two more on the top, but it will probably be months before I can get a picture of those...

Robbie's Golf Ball

Robbie was taking a little stroll down the sidewalk when he suddenly fell and hit his head. It immediately swelled up, making it look as though he had half a golf ball stuck to his forehead. I took him to the ER where they checked him for a concussion and then had me check him every two hours that night. Everything turned out fine, but I had to take pictures for the sake of memories. Poor kid. (The pictures really don't do it justice and these were taken a few hours after the fall...)

Frustration

I've been messing around with our blog - did you notice it has three columns now? But I lost everything else... boo hoo. So if I somehow forgot your blog on our list - send it to me... I want a cute background, but I seriously can NOT do it. I'm retarded.
More pictures are coming... stay tuned.

Family Pics

-Some recent pictures of the Hoer/Davidson/Duffey families-
Awww... Mariah and her Nona peacefully reading books and cuddling... This is the real Nona. And to think we're related...

Cutie pie Taven.

These are the people that started it all. (Nona after a crash into a stroller)

I guess it was too sunny on the couch?

Macho Aunt Taraleigh holding Mariah and Robbie at the same time

Kaniesha and Monica. They are confused.
Josh and I: He's confused. I'm just weird.Rashauna and Monica. Also weird.

All 3 of the cousins. I still can't believe we got them all looking in the same direction. What are we gonna do when there's more of them???
This is how I feel about Robbie sometimes.
Sweet Riah.

Monterey with Papa

Welcome to Monterey!

We tried taking a couple family pictures, but Robbie wasn't really in the mood...

Mariah's beautiful smile.

Robbie and his friend, the otter.

Prince Robbie, being carried down the stairs.

A few weeks ago we went over to Monterey with Josh's dad aka: Papa. We had a blast. We went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium both days we were there. The last time we were there was a little over a year ago when Robbie was only two months old. Mariah loved it just as much if not more than last time and Robbie was actually able to check everything out - he loved it too!
The weather was absolutely perfect! It was so nice to get away from the hot valley and get over to the ocean and feel that breeze you can only feel while you're there. The kids love being near the ocean. The second day we were there we spent some time walking around Canery Row.
They loved all the fish, animals, touch pools, toys... everything. It's such a wonderful place to take kids.

They also loved spending time with their Papa. It was Ron's birthday so we took him out to dinner and surprised him with a birthday song. Mariah and Papa had a dance in the foyer after dinner. Happy Birthday Papa! Ron recently moved from Tennessee to California so we'll be seeing much more of him - yay! Now we just need to get the rest of them out here...
Mariah and Papa dancing the night away at the restaurant... so cute.
I have to say my personal favorite of the trip (besides spending time with my family of course) was eating Dippin' Dots. If you don't know what these are, look them up on the internet, find the closest location to you, and GO GET SOME!!! They are soooooooooooo good. Mariah and Robbie liked them too as you can see, which meant I had to share. (darn!)
