Rafting down the Truckee River
(Taven watched from the sidelines), Our family and Monica. It was so much fun. At one point we almost decapitated ourselves going under the wrong part of an extremely low bridge, but we all made it out okay. Mariah (with the help of Josh) caught some little baby fish in a water bottle to hang out for the day. The weather was perfect; we got to see the beautiful scenery, get some rowing exercise and meet some fellow rafters. We even decided to continue farther than everyone else and go down the "big rapids". It was super fun, but then we had to haul the raft up the river bank and through the mosquito-infested forest to the road. After a long day we went out to dinner at a cute outdoor burger place (Mariah slept the whole time in the stroller) and then made our way back home.
